He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Jarvis and Eathel Fogle (Taylor); his wife Amanda Jarvis; his parents-in-law, Fount and Faye Moore; his siblings-in-law, Verlyn "Bozo" Dobbins, Betty Beavers (Leo), Lenora Wallace and Joanne Payne (Earl); and his nephew Dan Payne.
He is survived by: his children, Gayla Mitchell (Jim) of Zeigler, Kevin Jarvis (Beth) and Rose Steh of Springfield; his grandsons, Aaron Jarvis of Nevada, Andrew Mitchell (Lacy) of Zeigler and Tyler Mitchell (Karissa) of Odin; his great grandchildren, Brogan Mitchell, James Landry Mitchell and Maverick James Mitchell; his brother Paul Jarvis (Susan) of Zeigler; his sister-in-law Doris Dobbins of Johnston City; and his close friend Paula Nolen. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
