Allen Michael Owens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Allen Michael Owens of Zeigler, Illinois, who passed away on August 29, 2023 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Owens and Patricia Simmons of Johnston City, IL; and his brothers, Norman Owens, Ronnie Owens and Jim Owens.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Smith (Mike) of Morley, MO and Allen Owens Jr. (Laura) of Arlington, TN; his grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Aaron Smith, Eric Smith, Alaina Owens, Adam Owens, Allie Owens, Michael Smith and Serenity Smith; his pets, Gracie and Beau; and his sisters, Terry Baker, Christina Peter and Rhonda Mize. He is also survived by family, as he was also a loving dog grandfather.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Disabled American Veterans (ihelpveterans.org) in Mike's memory, as he believed in giving back to his community and helping veterans in need.
