He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gilbert and Iris Gilbert (Darby); and his sister Gloria Turnbough. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn H. Gilbert of Yorkville, IL; his children, Roger L. Gilbert Jr (Melina) of Midlothian, IL and Darby Gilbert of Midlothian, IL; and his siblings, Richard Gilbert (Pattie) of Elwood, IL, Charles Gilbert (Sandy) of Plainfield, IL, Clark Gilbert (Laurie) of Lockport, IL and Suzanne Gazelle. He is also survived by husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle who will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
