He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Dabbert and Esther Dabbert (Kruse) of West Chicago, IL.; and his brothers, George Jr. and Donald Dabbert. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen L. Thompson of Yorkville, IL.; his children, Betty Jackley (Don) of Aurora, IL., Amy Wolfe of Savoy, IL., Robert Dabbert (Leslie) of Sandwich, IL., Colleen Pike (Tony) of Oswego, IL., Christine (Kester) and Jeffers of Fort Wayne, IN.; and his sister Dorothy Meyer of Cincinnati, OH.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Eighner Funeral Home & Crematory (3952 Turner Ave, Plano, IL 60545). A prayer was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
