He was predeceased by: his father Fred Marklein; his daughter Linda Peirce; and his siblings, Dororthy Marklein, Ruth Dahlin, Fred Marklein, Helen Marklein and Herb Marklein.
He is survived by: his wife Ramona Simpson; his daughters, Nancy Stallman (Rick) of Yorkville, IL and Diane Love of Coppell, Texas; his grandchildren, Kelly Perez (George), Ryan Stallman (Sarah), Kyle Love (Raven), Taylor Klinke (Shepherd), Stacey Vander Meer (Westley), Rachael Peirce and Mary Peirce; and his sister Norma Wotring. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Robert's name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Honor Flight Network.
