She was predeceased by: her parents, Trinidad Martinez and Rafaela Martinez (Mercado); her husband Santos; her daughter Alicia; and her siblings, Antonio, Carlos, Luis, Guillermina and Aurea.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Maisonet (Marisol), Ruth Maisonet, Aida Malave (Luis), Margie Maisonet, Sylvia Maisonet, Judy Maisonet (Cary Tucek), Edwin Maisonet and Evelyn Cassano (Mike); her grandchildren, Alberto, Jessica, Jislaine, Andre, Adam, Anthony, Michael, Luis, Lauren and Keriann; her great grandchildren, Julia and Liam; and her sisters, Adelaida Sepulveda (Pedro) and Milagros Diaz (Pedro). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
