He is survived by: his children, Douglas Thanepohn (Gayle) of Yorkville, IL, Michael Thanepohn (Susan) of Hopewell, IL, Patricia of Aurora, IL and Brian (Beth) of Helmar, IL.; his sisters-in-law, Ione Marin of Sandwich, IL and Carol Fruland of Newark, IL.; and also, Dean (Marilyn) of Colorado, Chad, Philip, Robert, Blake, Blair, David, Ben and Zac.
