It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karen L. Olson (Yorkville, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 10, 2018, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Eleanor Gondek; and her stepmother Jean Gondek. She is survived by: her husband Philip M. Olson of Yorkville, IL; her children, Matthew Olson (Stephanie) of Yorkville, IL and Erin Eickman (Matthew) of DeKalb, IL; her grandchildren, Ella, Mark Olson, Ben and Audrey Eickman; her father Leopold Gondek of Schaumburg, IL; and her siblings, Gregory Gondek (Diana) of Naperville and Susan Rogers of Aurora, IL. She is also survived by wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and cousin who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
