With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Stoner of Yorkville, Illinois, born in Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on March 24, 2024 at the age of 71. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James E. Stoner to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stoner and Vivienne Stoner (Hollister); and his sisters-in-law, Bridget Fogarty Terlikowski, Cindy Fogarty and Sharon Stoner.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Stoner of Yorkville, IL; his daughters, Carrie Skital (Adrian) of Yorkville, IL and Julie Oostra (Kyle) of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Aidan, Bridget, Eamon, Vivienne and Rory; and his siblings, John Stoner of Oconomowoc, WI, Charles Stoner (Patricia) of Plainfield, IL and Barbara Littlejohn (Mark) of Joliet, IL. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
