Geoffrey R. Voigts Obituary

Geoffrey R. Voigts passed from our hands into God's loving arms on October 15, 2019 in Yorkville, IL leaving behind a legacy of love for his family to cherish. He courageously battled Multiple Myeloma for 3 1/2 years. Geoffrey is survived by his parents Richard and Pamela Voigts, Brother John C. Voigts and John's partner, John F. Eason III, Sister Kathryn Miller and her husband, Jerry. Per Geoffrey's request, his family will gather privately at a future date for a celebration of his life.

“I just had this sad news forwarded from a friend. My condolences to Geoff’s family. It’s been a very long time since our days at Springwood Jr. High & LPHS but I remember Geoff as a funny guy who was a good student and athlete. 44 years is not a very long time on this earth as I think about my own mortality but I do hope Geoff was able to live a fulfilling 44 years, enjoy some success, make some great friends, have some laughs and great memories along the way.”
