It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fern Helin of Yorkville, Illinois, born in Oconee, Illinois, who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Morgason and Edna Morgason (Stevens). She is survived by: her children, R. Dean Underwood of Kansas City, KS, Jackie Herhalt (Patrick) of Yorkville, IL and Candi Pence (Steve) of Millbrook, IL; her grandson Jarad Pence (Katie Heiser); her granddaughter-in-law Cara Pence; her great grandchildren, Carstin, Calyn and Kutter; her former husband Russell Underwood; her husband Ronald Helin; her grandson Justin Michael Pence; and her siblings, Lucille, Chester, Elvira, Dale, Mae, Frank and Bobby. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
