She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Smith and Ruth Smith (Mansfield); her great grandchild Benjamin Fox; her son-in-law Kevin Rife; and her sister Jean Button.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara Rife and Chet Shoemaker; her grandsons, Craig Fox, Charles Fox and Tim Shoemaker; and her great grandchildren, Madison Shoemaker, Megan Fox, Amelie Fox, Hunter Shoemaker, Zach Fox, Clara Fox and Linnea Fox.
