He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Leifheit and Gladys Leifheit (Heap); his stepfather Eugene Tabler; and his son Brett Leifheit. He is survived by: his wife Diana Leifheit of Yorkville, IL; his daughter Kimberly A. Crown (Mark) of Plattville, IL; and his daughter-in-law Christine Leifheit of Bloomington, IL.. He is also survived by his five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Plattville United Methodist Church or St Jude's Children's Hospital.
