He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Coppes Sr. (Williamson) and Duane "Hobie" Coppes; and his sister Bonita McCaslin. He is survived by: his sons, David Coppes (Felicia) of Plano, IL and Anthony Patton; his grandchildren, Mika and Maximus Coppes; his siblings, Douglas Coppes of Morris, IL, Roxanne Reingardt (Bill) of Yorkville, IL, Pamela Williams of Marseilles, IL and Tina Turk (Greg); and his former wife Marcy Florence (Howard) of Romeoville, IL.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
