She was predeceased by: her sons, Martin and Jon Woods; her parents, Vincent Getz and Virginia Getz; and her siblings, Sandra Getz (late Curtis Groves) and Richard C. "Rich" Getz.
She is survived by: her husband Dennis E. Woods; her daughter Nicole Woods of Merrillville, IN; her sibling Lynn Schopler of Naperville, IL; her sisters-in-law, Diane Coons (Mike) of St. Louis, MO and Sharon Sorsen of Gurnee, IL; her nephews, Stephen Schopler (Jennifer), Michael Schopler, Jonathan Coons, Alexander and Nathaniel Sorsen; her niece Bethany Cato (Derrick); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Alec, Alex, Elena Schopler, Ryan, Riley, Haley Schopler, Hannah, William, Lillian Cato and Robin Coons.
