He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Spera and Phyllis Spera (Sawicke); and his sister Dori Lukes. He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Mewes; his children, Ellen Halmagyi (Jeff), Elaine Spera of Serena, IL, Donna Brown (Tim) and Rick Spera (Lisa) of Oswego, IL; his grandchildren, Jaimie Silva (Jesse), Amy Spera (Jim), Brett Hornstein (Thana), Jessica Wyckoff (Hunter) and Hunter Spera; and his children, Easton, Wrenley Silva, Dajche Spera, Laciey Kempiak, Zayda, Zahra, Emran Hornstein, Charlotte and Eleanor Wyckoff.
