He is survived by: his children, Janis Kiedaisch (Howard) of Beecher, James Bauer of Veedersburg, IN, Elizabeth Bauer of Yorkville, IL and Allen Bauer (Lisa); his grandchildren, Jason Kiedaisch, Traci Peterson (Joshua), Jeffrie Bauer (Michelle), Jamie Bauer (Anna) and Julie Bauer; his great grandchildren, Lucas James Bauer, Claire Audrey Bauer, Izabella Bauer and Jacob Bauer; his siblings, Norma Nelson (late Jim) of Paris and Dennis Bauer (Dottie) of Frankfort; and his sister-in-law Jacquelyn Maciareillo (late Sam) of Chicago Heights.
