He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Lewis Blake and Mildred Ilene Blake (Chapman); and his brother-in-law Bill Cross. He is survived by: his wife Linda Blake of Yale, Illinois; his children, Alisha Wise (Dion) of Yale, Illinois, Kevin Blake (Amber) of Rose Hill, Illinois and Brandon Blake (Caitlin) of Effingham, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Savannah Blake (Justin Reavley), Kaleb Blake, Gracie Blake, Elijah Blake, Owen Blake, Kale Blake, Kyler Blake and Alexander Blake; and his siblings, Cynthia Sue Dodd of Marshall, Illinois, Alden Blake (Debbie) of Yale, Illinois, Retha Cross of Martinsville, Illinois, Karl Blake (Jenna) of Yale, Illinois and Anita Soltwedel (Paul) of Effingham.
