It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosemary Tackitt of Xenia, Illinois, born in Flora, Illinois, who passed away on February 5, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert W. Hunter and Madge Hunter (Painter); her brother Garland Hunter (Betty); her mother-in-law Margaret Tackitt Dulaney (Harry); her brother-in-law Jerry Chadwell; her nephews, Gary Hunter and Glen Hunter; and her niece Cindi Branom.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Tackitt of Xenia, Madge Grace (Jason) of Flora and William Tackitt (Marsha) of Tuscola; her grandchildren, Ciera Birch (Cody), Amanda Wasion, Zacaria Wasion, Jaxsun Grace, Trent Tackitt, Baylee Tackitt and Brock Tackitt; her great grandchildren, River, Logann, Jake, Alayna and Jett; and her sister Linda Chadwell of Flora. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to The Burge House and will be accepted through the funeral home.
