She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Overton and Willa Mae Overton (Jackson); her children, Auleria Johnson and Allen Jones; her siblings, Oliver Overton, Antoinette Holman and Connie Robertson; and her great grandchild Phyllip of Washington.
She is survived by: her sons, Joel Sterkes (Ronald White) of Xenia and Lamont Jones (Faith) of Los Angeles, CA; her children-in-law, Jim Johnson of Cerritos, CA and Joanne Mayfield of Los Angeles, CA; and her siblings, Rosita Thompson, Wakefield Overton and Frank Overton. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; 10 plus step grandchildren; several other daughters-in-law.
