Lee Newton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lee Newton of Xenia, Illinois, who passed away on June 11, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas "Tommy" and Doris Newton (Cantrell); his wife Virginia Carol Anderson; and his siblings, John Thomas Newton, Don Newton and Sharon Newton.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Newton (Jean), Kay Newton and Darryl Newton (Kris); his grandchildren, Erin Newton (Jen), Jesse Cygan, Nicole Cygan, Ariana Randall-Miranda (Marco), Anthony Randall and Levi Newton; his great grandchildren, Avery Newton and Hunter Wallace; and his siblings, Karen Williams (Jim) and Ardeth Freeman (Jim). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In loving memory of Lee, memorials may be made to Xenia Fire Department or Clay County Hospital Endowment Foundation and will be accepted through the funeral home.
