He was predeceased by: his parents, Matt Shevokas and Anna Shevokas (Skutt); his siblings, Matt, Leonard, Dennis, Evelyn and Marianne; and his pets, Gus and Mac.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Shevokas of Xenia; his children, Joshua Shevokas of Union Grove, Wisconsin and Laura Varo (Scott) of Belle Plaine, Iowa; his grandchildren, Casey, Kylin Shevokas, Sawyer and Piper Varo; and his brother Steven Shevokas (Dawn) of Chenoa. He is also survived by several brother and sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Memorial donations are suggested to Orchardville Fire Department, North Wayne Ambulance Service, or St. Stephen Catholic Church and will be accepted through the funeral home.
