With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Wyman of Xenia, Illinois, born in Rector, Arkansas, who passed away on May 29, 2020 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Artie Garrett and Esther Garrett (Wilson); her spouse Dorse "Coon" Wyman; her sons, Leonard Ray Ward and Troy Wyman; and her siblings, William "Bill" Garrett, Geneva Fletcher, Rosella Canady, Velma Jean Gibbs and Euvona Bishop.
She is survived by: her sons, Lonnie Ward (Linda) of Xenia and Larry Ward of Olney; her stepdaughter Phyllis Hill (Kenneth) of Ohio; her great grandchild Xander Ward of Xenia; her stepgrandsons, Todd, Stacy and Tracy Hill; and her brother Duane Garrett of Paragould, Arkansas. She is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren; 8 step-great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to the Clay County Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry, and these will be accepted through the funeral home.
