He was predeceased by: his parents, Burl Howard and Margaret Angeline Harrell (Evans); and his siblings, Clifford Harrell, Donald Harrell, Burl Harrell Jr. and Barbara McGrew-Young.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Harrell of Xenia; his daughter Diane Gill (Gary) of Glen Carbon; his grandchildren, Jackson Gill of Fishers, Grant Gill of Rolla, Caroline Gill of Glen Carbon and Samuel Gill of Glen Carbon; and his siblings, JoAnn McCann (Marvin) of Flora and Edward Harrell (Wanda) of Flora.
Memorial donations are suggested to Xenia Fire Department and will be accepted through the funeral home.
