He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Henry and Emma Augusta Heberlein Tournear; and his siblings, Carl Tournear (Audrey), Walter Tournear (Millie), Russell C. Tournear and Naomi Jergens (Leonard).
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Schwebel Tournear of Princeton; his sons, John Tournear (Carolyn) of Decatur, IL, Charles Tournear of Cincinnati, OH, Tom Tournear (Joyce) of Dover, IL and Prosper Allen Tournear of Dixon, IL; and his grandchildren, Susannah Tournear of Princeton, IL., Sarah Aigbe (Julius) and Nathaniel Tournear.
Memorials may be sent to the Preachers' Aid Society and Benefit Fund in Springfield, IL (helps retired pastors) and/or the American Heart Association.
