She was predeceased by: her parents, George E. Updyke and Anna Bell Updyke (Harvey); and her brother-in-law Thomas Browning. She is survived by: her children, Amy Buss (Jeff) of Shell Rock, IA, Shelley Marlowe (Christopher) of Miami Springs, FL and Daniel Streitmatter (Aimee Shane) of Wyoming; her grandchildren, Ethan Buss, Abigail Buss, Ella Marlowe, Wyatt Marlowe, Jaxton Streitmatter and Mira Streitmatter; her sisters, Sandra Browning of Wyoming and Cheryl Winter (Rich) of Dunlap; and her siblings-in-law, Dodie Melton (James) of Wyoming and Kurt Streitmatter (Marilyn) of Wyoming. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Haskell Funeral & Cremation Services - Wyoming (101 S Galena Ave, Wyoming, IL 61491). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Wyoming United Methodist Church (302 N Main Ave, Wyoming, IL 61491).
