She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Fischer and Patricia A. Fischer (McAvin). She is survived by: her spouse Thomas Nelson; her sons, Joseph L. Collins (Marianne Heider) of East Peoria, Christopher M. Collins (Brittany) of Pekin and Jesse J. Schlueter (Kelsie) of Washington; her grandchildren, Makayla F. Kuester, Norah L. Collins, Lainey J. Collins, Madilyn S. Schlueter, Emery R. Schlueter and Beckham S. Schlueter; and her brother Jonathan A. Fischer of Pekin. She is also survived by her family and being active in her children and grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or TAPS in Pekin.
