He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Ann Holland of Wyoming, Illinois; his sons, Joseph "Jay" Fleitz, IV of Temple Terrace and Matthew Thomas Holland-Fleitz of Dunlap, Illinois; his grandchildren, Gresham, Bronwyn, Quinlan, Emilia, River and Noah; and his siblings, Veronica Detrick of Mays Landing, John Fleitz of Lilburn, Thomas Fleitz of Dover and Louis Fleitz of England.
