With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan A. Meeker of Wyoming, Illinois, born in Dayton, Ohio, who passed away on July 19, 2023 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan A. Meeker to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence L. Thomas and Mildred B. Thomas (Green); her daughter Karan Streitmatter; her son-in-law William Henry; and her granddaughter Danielle Cable.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Henry of Wyoming, Karyl McNeeley (Fred) of Princeville, Judi Mullin (Mike) of Sierra Vista, AZ, Kenneth Meeker (Shuree) of Kewanee, Marianne Cable (Mike) of Carolina Beach, NC and Michele Yarger (Lonny) of Moline; and her sister Elizabeth Shock of Austin, TX.. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
