We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2022, at the age of 79, Janet L. Ferris (Wyoming, Illinois), born in Kewanee, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles R. Hegwood and Zelda M. Hegwood (Burton); her husband Donald Keith "Don" Ferris; her sisters, BettyAnne Dickinson, Deloris Nelson and Laura Bayes; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Gunn and William DeReu.

She is survived by: her children, Teri Rummerfield (Rodney) of Wyoming, IL, Tracy Hollis (Rodney) of Wyoming, IL and Donald Keith Ferris II (Mary) of Lincoln Park, NJ; her grandchildren, Brandon, Jon, Terry, Heather, Josh, Matt, Jessica, Geri and Donald Keith Ferris III; and her siblings, MaryJayne Hegwood of Byron, GA, Debbie Burnett of Chicago, IL and Kevin Hegwood (Tony) of Des Plaines, IL. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
