He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Dean and Ruth Dean (Etter); his sisters, Maryella Goldsmith and Lysandra Hebert (Omer); and his grandchildren, Joseph Dean, Nicole Dean and Robert Dean.
He is survived by: his former wife Leona Paulson; his children, Mikel Dean of Mt. Vernon, Paul Dean of Kewanee, Lowell Dean (Linda) of Toulon, Merlyn Dean (Sheila) of Woodhull and Cheryl Robsen of Galva; his wife Patti Storey (Wilkinson); his children, Randy Storey (Drinda) of Toulon, Sally Ramsey (Rob) of Kewanee and Theresa Storey (Dana) of Jacksonville, FL.; and his brothers, Carl Dean (Judy) and Owen Dean (Sheila).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wyoming United Methodist Church (302 N Main Ave, Wyoming, IL 61491). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyoming Methodist Church.
