It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Virginia Yates of Wyanet, Illinois, born in Eldorado, Illinois, who passed away on February 28, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Tom" Ingram and Lillian Ingram (Johnson); and her husband Guy Yates. She is survived by: her children, Gaylord (Patricia) of Ft. Myers, FL, Bruce (Shelley) of Wyanet, Trudy Miller (Roger) of Princeton and Judy Wood (Carlyn) of Wyanet. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Bethel Baptist Church in Princeton, Illinois or First Cape Church in Cape Coral, Florida.
