She was predeceased by: her parents, Lisle Vaughn and Eva Vaughn (McLane); her husband Elmer H. Wood; her son Jeff Wood; and her siblings, Verna Skow, Virginia Richards, Clifford, Robert, Willis, Lee Howard and James Vaughn.
She is survived by: her son Patrick Wood (Laurie) of Princeton; her daughter-in-law Deb Wood of Princeton; her granddaughters, Katherine Perry (Tyler) of Springfield, Kelsey Eklin (Matt) of Oak Lawn and Janelle Smith (Mike) of Sheffield; her great grandchildren, Theo Perry and Mijael Smith; and her siblings, Lisle "Butch" S. Vaughn, Jr. (Sharon) of Dallas and Marilyn Jean Barker of Danville, Illinois. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
