He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Dietsch and Betty Dietsch (Carper). He is survived by: his wife Suzanne; his children, Phillip, Kimberly and Michael; his grandchildren, Zachary, Madison, Lydia, Emily, Grant, Ethan and Lauren; his sister Patricia; and also, Cooper and Elyse.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association.
