Marilyn Jean (West) Olds Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Jean (West) Olds of Wyanet, Illinois, who passed away on March 19, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eric West and Berniece West (Morris); her husband Floyd "Victor" Olds; her daughter Nancy Jo Olds-Bohm; her great grandchild Brett Carlson; and her brothers, Roger and Robert West.
She is survived by: her sons, Max Olds (Donita) of Wyanet and Donald Olds of Kennesaw, GA; her grandchildren, Eric Olds (Lynn), Katy Jo Olds, Preston Olds, Madison Olds, Samantha Bohm, Molly Bohm and Tim Bohm; her great grandchild Cassidy Olds; her nieces, Pam Stephenson Wroblewski and Judy Olds; and her close friend Joanne Baker. She is also survived by her children's, grandchildren's, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Grant-Johnson Funeral Home (30 W Mechanic St, Princeton, IL 61356). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Community Bible Church (215 S Locust St, Wyanet, IL 61379). A burial was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery (450 E Main St, Wyanet, IL 61379).
Memorials may be directed to the Wyanet VFW, Wyanet Historical Society, or Community Bible Church in Wyanet.
