He was predeceased by: his parents, John Swearingen and Carol Swearingen; and his grandparents, Claude, Lottie Stabler, Albert and Hannah Swearingen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Terry Swearingen of Wyanet, IL and Cherie Kittle (John) of New Braunfels, TX; his nieces, Angela Summers (Terry) of Yorkville, IL and Ryane Barton (Brandon) of Plainfield, IL.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Meryn, Piper Barton, Ben, Nathan and Luke Summers; and his friends, Buddy Weizer, Jack Daniels and Jimmy Beam.
