It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Baker of Wyanet, Illinois, born in Kaw City, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 4, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Baker and Ruth Baker (Shelton); his wife Ruby Salsman; and his siblings, Mardell Swords, Marchell Sissel, Max and Murrel Baker.
He is survived by: his sons, Terry Baker (Deborah) of Loveland and Randy Baker (Rhonda) of Henderson, Nevada; his grandchildren, Stephanie Mease (Joe) of Denver, Kyle Baker (Nikki) of Las Vegas and Jordan Baker of Ashland, Oregon; his great grandchildren, Emerson, Sydney Mease of Denver and Anna Baker; and his siblings, Maxine McMahon of Moweaqua, Mona Johnson of Princeton, Marlene Howes (Garold) of Princeton, Milton Baker (Janice) of Atoka and Mark Baker (Debra) of Wyanet. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
