It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brett Carlson of Wyanet, Illinois, born in Princeton, Illinois, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Alice E. Henry and Judy Huckelberry Conrad; his cousin Andrew Redecker; his uncle Tobi Britton; and his aunt Nancy Olds-Bohm.

He is survived by: his parents, Lynn Olds (Eric) of Wyanet and Michael Carlson (Jeannie) of Mineral; his sisters, Cassidy Olds of Wyanet, Haley Eble of Kewanee and Jessie Witte of Sheffield; his grandparents, John, Linda Carlson of Mineral, Marty Henry of Atkinson, Max Olds (Donita) of Wyanet and Ted Payne of New Castle, Pennsylvania; his great-grandparent Marilyn Olds of Wyanet; and his cousins, Owen and Oliver. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
