It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Desmond P. Curran (Worth, Illinois), who passed away on April 25, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Pat; and his siblings, Martin (Noreen), Pat (late Mary), May O'Brien (late Paddy), Peggy Anderson (late James), Vera Mitchell (late Timmie), John (Anne) and Tom (late Margaret).

He is survived by: his children, Desmond (Patty), Michael (Mary Pat), Brendan, Richard (Cortney) and Proud; his grandchildren, Kathleen, Bridget, Deirdre, Jack, Maggie, Christopher and Sean; and his siblings, Clare Marie O. P., Sr., Agnes R. S. M. and Irene Fitzgibbon (P. J.).

“I’m going to miss you Desmond. I’ve been waiting on the Curran brothers since 1971, and now The Last Of The Mohicans is gone. I’m sorry you never got a chance to try that new Irish Whiskey with me, but you gave it up for lent. I’m sure they’re serving the good stuff where your at. When I go into Petey’s later I’m going to pour us each a shot. Slainte ! Say hi to MaryPat, Tom, John, Frank, George and Danny for me. I hope to join you all again someday. RIP my friend..”
