It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda Beys of Worden, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Beys and Mary Beys. She is survived by: her brothers, Meletios Beys (Milton), Gregory Beys (Linda) and Thomas Beys (Donna). She is also survived by her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in Freda's name to St. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, c/o Freda Beys Memorial, 405 Huntwood Road, Swansea, Illinois, 62226, which will be accepted at the funeral home.
