He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin W. Sievers and Esther Sievers Sr. (Sievers); and his grandchildren, Joshua McCrady and Brittney Sievers. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Sievers; his children, Nadine Sievers of Litchfield, IL, Denise Buschmann (Keith) of Staunton, IL and Kevin Sievers (Mary) of Gillespie, IL; his grandchildren, Jeremy Engelke of Staunton, IL, Jenny Overby (Jason) of Staunton, IL, Justin Engelke of Staunton, IL, Nick Sievers of Edwardsville, IL and Colin Sievers of Worden, IL; and his siblings, Melvin Sievers (Lucille) of Staunton, IL and Velma Granda (Don) of New Douglas, IL. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church – Men's Club or to St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Hamel, IL.
