We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2023, at the age of 86, Clayton Palmer Johnson of Worden, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Donald and Ethel Corrine Johnson (Palmer); his daughters-in-law, Debra Johnson and Jodi Borger-Johnson; and his siblings, Cliff, Karen and Connie.

He is survived by: his wife Jessie May Johnson of Worden, IL; his children, Steve Johnson (Debbie) of Staunton, IL, Clayton Johnson of Batavia, IL, Kenneth Johnson of Ellsworth, IL and Beth Helmerich (TJ) of North Hollywood, CA; his grandchildren, Bram, Rory, James, Melissa, Zachary, Colin, Grace, Eric, Hannah and Maxwell; his great grandchildren, Margot, Molly, Matilda, Millie, Lucas, Mabel and Mina; and his brother Ken Johnson of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
