He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome P. Micek and Stephanie Micek; his brothers, James, Kenneth and Jerome Jr.; and his mother-in-law Mary Taylor.
He is survived by: his wife Patty; his sons, Ryan B. Micek and Brett A. Micek (Lexi Lamont); his grandson Brayden A. Micek; his siblings, Linda Zimmerman, Karen Malats (Albert) and Alan Micek (Jean); his cousin Diane Poniatowski (John); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jo Willits (Brett), Colleen Huntley (Gary), Georgia Stevens (Scott), Robert Taylor (Mary), Dennis Taylor (Theresa) and John Taylor (Michelle). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Woodstock Fire/Rescue District or the Tunnels to Towers Foundation, (T2T.org), which helps the families of fallen first responders and homeless veterans.
