In the sacred silence of farewell, Susan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her father Allan Winstrom; her sister Carla Winstrom Nordness; and her stepfathers, Rudy Slezak and Frank Nilson. She is survived by: her mother Patsy Winstrom (Barnard); her husband Jeffrey Pankow; her children, David Pankow (Sarah) and Lian Pankow; and her siblings, Todd Winstrom and Karen Schoen (Tim).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Schneider Leucht Merwin Cooney Funeral Home (1211 N Seminary Ave, Woodstock, IL 60098). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Barnabas Lutheran Church (8901 Cary Algonquin Rd, Cary, IL 60093).
