In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Stella had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Stella may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Elizabeth; her son Phillip; and her daughter-in-law Susan (Douglas). She is survived by: her children, Douglas, Stuart (Helene), Mark (Susan) and Elizabeth Day (Daniel); and her daughter-in-law Jill Holtz Kropf. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crystal Lake.
