He was predeceased by: his parents, Margherita and Adolfo; and his daughter Diane. He is survived by: his wife Maria Curry; his children, Gloria Kenney and John Bertacchi (Mary Jo); his stepchildren, Christopher Curry (Amy) and Jennifer Rumps (Matthew); and his sister Mary. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to Helping Paws Animal Shelter of Woodstock, IL.
