It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard M JohnsSr. of Woodstock, Illinois, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Johns and Violet Johns; his wife Barbara Schuman; his daughter Deborah J. Johns; and his brother Donald Johns.
He is survived by: his son Richard M. Johns, Jr. (Valerie); his grandchildren, Eric Johns (Leslie), Shelly Johns and Vanessa Prather; and his great grandchildren, Casey Prather, Katrina, Abby and Mackenzie Johns (Liz Boberg).
Memorials may be made in Richard's name to Saint John's Lutheran Church in Woodstock.
