She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Friedman and Robert Friedman; her siblings, Phyllis Rothmann (Bill) and Laurence Friedman (Janice); and her sister-in-law Dorothy Shore.
She is survived by: her husband Edward I. Flaxman; her children, David Flaxman (Kathy), Joan Anderson (David) and Andrew Flaxman (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Robert Flaxman (Alma), Marian Ashby (Lucas), Alexander Anderson, Paige Flaxman and Erin Flaxman; and her great grandchildren, Aurora Bosco, Edith Ashby and Frieda Ashby.
