He is survived by: his children, Kathy Lemke (Jerry), Pat Esker (Alan) and Steve Schmidt (Beth); and his grandchildren, Krissy Starwalt (Scott), Daniel Lemke (Carrie), Amy Voss (Hansen), Zachariah Esker (Susanna), Jacob Esker (Alyssa), Joanna Esker, Joshua Schmidt (Candace), Adam and Lucas Schmidt. He is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren.
