James Gavers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Gavers of Woodstock, Illinois, born in Cary, Illinois, who passed away on July 17, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Gavers and Ann Gavers (DeVogelaere); and his brothers, William, Johnny, Donny and Gene Gavers.
He is survived by: his close friend Bob Gavers (Gavers Automotive); his girlfriend Margaret Reneé Simcoe; his pet Reese; his sons, Chris Gavers (Angela) and Tim Larsen; his stepdaughter Jessica Martell (Marty James); his grandchildren, Brittany (Ryan), Kaylie, Dillon, Jenna, Jayden and Jakob; his great grandchildren, Lian, Ashton and Elliot; and his siblings, Bob Gavers (Lucille), Tom Gavers (Judy), David Gavers, Genevieve O'Herron (Joe) and Terry Gavers (Ellen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
